I have family who moved out there for work and bought a house about a year and a half ago. They estimate they've already lost 50%. It's a nice house too. At this point they could probably strip it like a stolen car and get more for the parts. As far as AZ slashing services, the school system is already a joke so I doubt there's much to grab there.
